An existing farmhouse remodeling; substantial internal and external alterations to modernise the house &  open up, spectacular views across Western Port Bay to Phillip Island.

A high level of care & attention was required of the builder, due to the client's indefatigable pursuit of recycling materials and reducing waste. Bricks were cleaned and re-laid, studs were de-nailed and reused, tiles removed without a crack and re-laid...
 

Additional flexibility is provided throughout, via large sliding partitions, offering those views through to almost every room but with the ability to zone off sections of the house and conserve/restrict energy to suit however many people may be residing.

The outcome is a, significantly more open, light & airy yet warm farmhouse and a very happy client.
